Illinois Green Alliance Annual Meeting & Awards  - 2/6/25

The Illinois Green Alliance (formerly the Illinois Chapter of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) held their Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025.  The event was held at the Willis Tower’s Skydeck (99^th Floor).  The meeting gave an opportunity for attendees to connect with green building professionals, acknowledge volunteers - a number of awards were given, recognize exemplary LEED projects across Illinois, and learn about Illinois Green Alliance’s programs for 2025. 

Powering Chicago is an active sponsor. Elbert Walters, III, Powering Chicago Director serves on the Illinois Green Alliance Building Energy Resource Hub Advisory Board.  The ECA is a sponsor in a reduced capacity.  However, through the ECA, 51 members are now participating as Associate members within the Illinois Green Alliance.
