CISCO 36th Annual Luncheon

The 36th Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) Annual Luncheon was held on Friday, April 26, 2024.  The well-attended event was held at Harry Caray’s Restaurant in Lombard, IL.  The Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) is a non-profit labor management association. CISCO was founded in 1988 in an effort to bring union construction labor and management representatives together to work cooperatively in order to better the construction industry as a whole. CISCO currently represents over 8,000 union contractors and 140,000 workers in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, Kendall and McHenry Counties. 

Highlights of the CISCO Annual Meeting include the following:

  • Addresses by CISCO Board President, Melanie Conklin, Ray Edwards Contractors, Inc. and Dan Allen, CISCO Director
  • Hire 360 / CISCO Panel Discussion
  • CISCO Scholarship presentations:
  • Four-Year Scholarships:
    • Isabella Connelly (Local 134 IBEW)
    • Teresa Salazar (Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council Local 250)
    • Diana Barrientos (BAC Local 21)
  • Two-Year Scholarships:
    • Ava Brassard (BAC Local 21)
    • Amanda Manriquez (Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 11)
