ECA January Regular Membership Meeting - January 24, 2024

The Electrical Contractors' Association of the City of Chicago (ECA) January Membership Meeting was held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the Maggiano's Banquets in Oak Brook, IL. The meeting featured an introduction to ECA's upcoming DEI and Foremen programs from Alex Willis, CEO of Leadership Surge. As well as guest speaker - David Woodard, Midwestern Regional Director, NECA, who provided a National update and overview of the work outlook and progress in the Midwest and the impact it will have on the Chicago Cook County area.

Additional highlights of the Membership meeting included:

• Acknowledgment of the new ECA Officers: 
  -- Bob Fimbianti, ECA President, Linear Electric, Inc.,
  -- Kendra Dinkins, ECA Vice President and Treasurer, Taylor Electric Company, and
  -- Mark Thomas, ECA Executive Vice President and Secretary.
  
  
• Acknowledgment of Rick Jameson, Jamerson & Bauwens to continue on as NECA Governor.
  
  
• ECA Executive Committee's two new members: Scott Block, Block Electric Company, Inc., and David Chorley, Continental Electrical Construction Company, and acknowledgment of the full ECA Executive Committee.

The next ECA Membership meeting is scheduled for a luncheon on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Shaw's Crab House in Schaumburg, IL. The February program will feature industry updates as well as guest speaker Dr. Paul Lisnek, WGN-TV Political Analyst. He will discuss the upcoming Primaries / Presidential Election / Chicago and State Politics. We hope to see you there!
