2024 CISCO Annual Meeting - January 19, 2024

Program was held at Harry Caray's in Lombard, IL.

The Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) held its Annual Meeting on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Harry Caray's in Lombard, IL. It was a well-attended event, with over 300 construction industry members in attendance.

The Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) is a non-profit labor management association. CISCO was founded in 1988 in an effort to bring union construction labor and management representatives together to work cooperatively in order to better the construction industry as a whole.  CISCO currently represents over 8,000 union contractors and 140,000 workers in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, Kendall, and McHenry Counties.

• Educator of the Year - Rita Cardenas - Chicago Public Schools, Career Pathway Specialist Office of Early Education
• Public Body of the Year - Village of Tinley Park - Mayor Michael Glotz
• Construction Advocate of the Year - Christina Wernick - Laner Muchin Ltd.

Project of the Year

• New Construction Chicago (over $20 million) - Chicagoland Park District Headquarters
• New Construction Suburbs (over $20 million) - Lincoln Elementary School 
• New Construction Chicago/Suburbs (below $20 million) - Rusu-McCartin Boys & Girls Club
• Rehabilitation Projects - Congress Line - Track Improvements - Phase One
• Residential Projects - The Row Fulton Market
• Infrastructure Projects - Canal Street Revitalization Project
• Special Mention - Walsh Academy & Career Tech High School
