Rebuilding Together (formerly Christmas in April) Annual Build Day
April 25th, 2020
The LMCC Chicago, a joint labor management committee working together to promote a stronger union electrical construction industry is extending an invitation to you to partner with them in the annual Rebuild Together event.
Rebuild Together, formerly Christmas in April, is a day of service which provides minor to moderate electrical repairs in communities that would otherwise go neglected. We are asking for our partners to assist by providing service vans, trucks and tools to help make this the most successful Rebuild Together ever.
This year’s event is scheduled for April 25, 2020. There are two locations that industry representatives are donating their talents: Chicago Heights, Illinois and the Englewood area of the City of Chicago. The meeting place for the county locale will be Marian Catholic High School located at 700 Ashland Avenue, Chicago Heights Illinois. The meeting place for the city locale will be Lindblom Park located at 6054 s. Damen, Chicago, Illinois. Volunteers need to be at the meeting locations no later than 7:00 a.m.
This event has had an extremely positive effect with the communities, the IBEW Members and with those union electrical contractors that participated before.
The LMCC Chicago, again, requests your assistance in the donation of your time and resources to make this a truly successful event. “Thank you” in advance of your help.
