EJATT Graduation Ceremony Highlights

The Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Trust (EJATT) held an Apprentice Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, September 21, 2019,  Nearly 220 apprentices graduated to the journeylevel.  The Graduation Ceremony was generously sponsored by the Labor Management Cooperation Committee of Chicago (LMCC Chicago). 

The program featured an Invocation by Father Thomas McCarthy, O.S.A., and two guest speakers:  Don Finn, Business Manager Local Union #134, IBEW and Robert Fimbianti, EJATT Trustee, Linear Electric, Inc.  Each speaker congratulated the new journeylevel graduates and spoke of the importance of continuing education to keep their newly honed skills up-to-date and affording them the opportunity to adapt to changing technologies and applications in the industry.  They also thanked the instructors, families, contractors - all who supported the graduates and continue to support the industry.  Each speaker commended the joint efforts of the contractors and the IBEW in pursuing to maintain the quality standards of INTECH, as it remains the top school of its kind in the United States. 

A number of awards and awardees were presented, including the following:  "Outstanding "A" Apprentice of the Year:  1st Year - Tyler Lee, 2nd Year - Luis Valdez, 3rd Year - Alexander Sloss, 4th Year - Michael Reblin, 5th Year - Kevin Wekch, Graduate - Chris Ames; Outstanding "C" Apprentice of the Year:  1st Year - Deanna Rivera, 2nd Year - Brandon Alexander, 3rd Year - Quinten Riley, Graduate - Gabriel Hernandez; Andrea Hall Apprentice Excellence Award - Ericka Nendza and the Terry Allen Brotherhood Award - Daniel Connolly.   We thank you for your continued support of the Chicagoland Electrical Construction Industry!
