2022 NECA Convention & Trade Show
The NECA Convention & Trade Show is coming! Please visit www.necaconvention.org for registration. Please be aware that the Austin City Limits (ACL), Texas home football and Formula One will be occurring near the Convention time-frame.
Again, Registration is open for the Convention; but, the Chapter Block is Filled! If you're registering and the Four Seasons is listed as not available, another hotel would be utilized. Please contact the ECA office in regard to availability options for the Four Seasons and/or the other hotels in the overall NECA block.
Registration
Please visit www.necaconvention.org to register for the NECA Convention/Accommodations. The Convention Center is located at the Austin Convention Center at 500 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78701.
The regular "in-person" NECA Convention registration fee is $1,550 per NECA member, and $950 for the member’s spouse / guest. However, those who register early (on or before August 3, 2022) will receive the “early bird” price of $1,350 for members and $750 for the member’s spouse / guest.
After you have registered, please e-mail a copy of your completed registration transaction to the Association office at registration@ecachicago.com. This will allow us to have a record of your registration information, should you need any assistance after registering.
There are several ways to attend the Convention: Full Convention, Weekend Package and A La Carte:
Full Registration
includes: Opening Reception, General Sessions, Convention Education, Trade Show Education: Leadership Workshops, Technology Workshops, Construction Solution Workshop; three (3) days of the NECA Show including lunch; On-line streaming of select Convention Education courses, and the Closing Celebration.
Registering Children
Registration for children must be completed on-line. Children may attend the NECA Show floor for all three days, but must be registered and accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Child 16 years+ is $455; Child 7 - 15: $100; Child 6 and under is complimentary.
Weekend Package (NECA Members Only - $750)
Saturday and Sunday events, including Opening Reception, Opening General Session, Convention Education, NECA Show, Trade Show Education, Showstopper Showcase, lunch on the Show floor and Daily Prize Drawing Tickets.

Convention Stipend
The ECA Executive Committee approved the stipend of the Registration Fee for up to two representatives and their guests from each ECA member firm that registers for the Convention. The registrations will be reimbursed to the applicable companies after the Convention.
Hotel Reservations
The Hotel for the Chicago & Cook County Chapter is the Four Seasons Hotel Austin located at 98 San Jacinto Blvd., Austin TX 78701 (512) 478-4500. The room type and rate that is available is the City View Room (1 King Bed) at $445.00 Single / Double.
There is complimentary internet access, complimentary access to Fitness Center, $5.64 daily state recovery fee in addition to applicable taxes. Credit Card guarantee required to book reservation. Hotel may charge card on file a deposit of one night's room and tax 2 - 3 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellation policy: 10 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of one night's rooms and tax.
Accommodations Notes from CMR
Rates do not include applicable taxes and/or hotel surcharges. Special requests are subject to hotel availability. If you do not arrive at the hotel on the confirmed day of arrival, the hotel may cancel your reservation and your deposit will be forfeited. There may be a penalty for changes in departure dates after arrival. The guest acknowledges that after the cancellation deadline, NECA Housing shall have no obligation to seek recovery or any deposit monies on the guest's behalf. The rooming list deadline is August 3, 2022. Additional Room requests will be subject to availability.
Please note: Unused rooms within the overall Chapter Blocks are released after August 3, 2022. Any reservation made at that time is from a pool of whatever available rooms are left from the overall Chapter Blocks. It is in your best interest to register, early!

Convention Events
The Trade Show will be held at the Music City Center; the main Convention events will be held on-site.
The Opening Reception is being held 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm on Saturday, October 15th at The Moody Theater - the famed Austin City Limits Live Concert venue - the host for America's longest running music television series, "Austin City Limits." It hosts around 100 concerts a year, and in 2022, NECA will be taking over for a night of music, food, drink, and entertainment around every corner. The After Party is from 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm sponsored by Milwaukee Tool.
The Opening General Session is scheduled for 10:15 am - 11:30 am on Sunday, October 16th and will feature Travis Mills, Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, founder of Texas Mills Foundation.
The Monday General Session is scheduled for 10:00 am - 11:00 am on October 17th, and will feature Emmitt Smith, Hall of Fame NFL Running Back, Entrepreneur.
The Closing General Session is scheduled for 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm on Tuesday, October 18th and will feature Scott Pelley, Journalist, Anchor, Author.
The Closing Celebration is arranged for the evening of Tuesday, October 18th at the Palmer Events Center. The program will feature Carly Pearce, winner of the 2021 CMA Female Entertainer of the Year. The After Party is sponsored by ABB.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations in this section refer to the cancellation of the registration in its entirety.
- Cancellations received on or before August 3, 2022 will receive a full registration refund.
- All full meeting, weekend packages, and Convention Education registration (including individual guest registrations) cancellations received between August 4 and September 28, 2022 will be refunded in full minus $100 processing fee.
- Paid NECA Show cancellations (main attendee and individual guests) received between September 1 and September 22, 2022 will be refunded minus $50.00 processing fee.
- No refunds will be given for any Virtual Conference Only registration cancellations. However, you may upgrade to attend the meeting in person or you may transfer your registration to another person. Submit upgrade or substitution requests by September 28, 2022 by sending us a message through the NECA Registration & Hotel Support Center (cmrushelp.com/s/contactsupport).
- Cancellations received after September 28, 2022 will not be refunded.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to necasupport@cmrus.com.
REFUNDS
Check refunds will be issued six to eight weeks after the convention date. Refunds will NOT be issued for cancellations received after September 28, 2022. Credit card refunds will be processed within six to eight weeks after receiving the cancellation.
NO-SHOWS
Refunds will NOT be issued to participants who do not attend the Convention and do not cancel their registration by September 28, 2022.
