The Women in NECA (WIN) Conference was held on April 6 – 7, 2025 at the Diplomat Hotel & Resort in Hollywood, Florida.  The program was well-attended; ten Chapter members were able to register for this sold-out conference.  The speakers were:  Dr. Deb Manzo, who serves on the Editorial Review Board for the American Society for Quality- Quality Management Journal and Harvard Business Review (HBR); as well as Demi Clark, who is one of only 2% certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in Construction with her company Spark Building Group - with an emphasis on welding/metal fabrication & general contracting.   Both speakers offered dynamic presentations. The presentations by Deb Manzo included a panel discussion and a session called, “Navigating Power Dynamics.”  Demi Clark’s session was called, “Igniting Negotiations for Women.” 

Nearly 30 Chapter attendees experienced the premier educational offerings of NECA Now, and attendees from each conference enjoyed the opportunities to explore the Fort Lauderdale area and the fun backdrop of the Diplomat Resort.

NECA Now featured nearly 30 speakers, including:  Dr. Travis Bradberry, who is the award-winning author of the #1 bestselling book, "Emotional Intelligence Habits," and is the Chief People Scientist at LEADx; David Meade, who is a broadcaster, business leader, keynote speaker and master of ceremonies; Drew Batty, who is the Electric Utility Contractor Account Manager for Buckingham Manufacturing; Dr. Alyson Goldstein, Senior Consultant at Senscia Leadership; Dr. Alice Domar, Chief Compassion Officer and Director of Research at Inception, an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, part-time, and a senior staff psychologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, among a host of other unique individuals who offered impactful sessions.
