The ECA congratulates Taylor Electric Company for celebrating 100 years! Taylor Electric Company recently celebrated this milestone on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Mae District in Chicago. Hundreds were gathered to help celebrate the happy occasion! Martha Taylor, Executive Director, was also on hand to discuss the efforts of Taylor Electric Cares, NFP (TECares) – a 501(c)3 - a non-profit organization. Taylor Electric Cares is a non-profit founded in 2021 by Taylor Electric Company family members, executives, and employees. TECares mission is to ensure the inclusion and success of minorities and women in the electrical construction industry. Its focus is Recruitment and Retention; to introduce (recruit) women and minorities to join the electrical industry AND promote their success (retention) through education and mentorship.The ECA wishes much continued success to Kendra and Karen Dinkins, Bryan Taylor, Martha Taylor, and all of the staff at Taylor Electric Company, as well as the efforts of TECares, NFP!
