ECA Chicago is pleased to kick off the Contractor Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training Program

Session #1 is May 5, 2021

 

ECA Chicago is pleased to announce the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training program specifically designed for Electrical Contractors. 

This program was designed with  a Multi-Tier Top-Down Approach, while implementing inclusion prerequisite skills at the frontline level. This approach will guarantee that the Diversity & Inclusion lessons are sustainable and have maximum impact throughout all levels of leadership within the company.  It is the first of it's kind in the nation, and we are pleased to offer it to our members beginning this spring.

Who should attend?  Company leaders, and frontline supervisors from all levels within your Company. (Owners, Executive Team, HR, Division Managers, Project Managers, Team leaders and more)

Program Objectives:

• Identify personal and company biases related to diversity and inclusion

• Understand and be able to articulate the business case for diversity and inclusion

• Understand and create plan for adopting and incorporate diversity and inclusion within the company culture

• Identify situations in which further discussion and planning needs to take place related to diversity and inclusion

• Create a plan for taking action after completion of the training

• Quarterly Training Webinars (4 Sessions total) - First Session is May 5th at 1:00pm (Virtual Session)

• DEI Mobile App

• DEI Communications Calendar with Content & Activities (supplemental training content

between Quarterly Trainings)

• Pre-Assessment Survey

• Post-Training Assessment & Engagement Surveys

• Customized Metrics Report & Management Communications

• Monthly Toolbox talks with 90 second video from Alex

• Access to resource center for DEI Company Champions with explanatory videos from Alex
