Kathy received her master’s degree in Counseling from National-Louis University and has 35 years of experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings including in-patient psychiatry and Employee Assistance Programs. Kathy’s role at Employee Resource Systems, Inc. over the last 20 years has been that of an EAP Counselor, Director of Provider Relations and Account Manager. In her role as Account Manager, Kathy has worked with assigned client companies over the years to help develop strategies that foster employee/member performance and development through organizational consultation and training. Kathy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol & Other Drug Counselor (CADC) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
Bill Heffernan is a highly accomplished professional in the field of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and workplace safety. As a licensed clinical professional counselor and co-founder of Employee Resource Systems, Inc. (ERS) and ScreenSafe, Inc., he has played a pivotal role in providing nationwide EAP services and drug-free workplace programs. His career began as an addiction counselor and evolved into various leadership roles, including Director of an adolescent residential treatment program and Vice-President of Chicago office operations at Bensinger, DuPont & Associates. Bill's dedication to the industry is evident through his involvement in organizations such as the Chicagoland Chamber, The Northern Illinois Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (NIEAPA), and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where he received a fellowship. Additionally, his commitment to community health charities led to him being named Volunteer of the Year by Community Health Charities of America, and he served on their National Board for seven years. Bill Heffernan's career is marked by his significant contributions and leadership in promoting workplace well-being and safety.
