The 2019 NECA Convention & Trade Show will be held September 14 - 17, 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Early-bird” Registration ends July 18, 2019.
On-line Registration
Visit www.necaconvention.org to register for the NECA Convention/Accommodations on-line. The regular NECA Convention registration fee is $1,430 per NECA member, and $815 for the member’s spouse / guest. However, those who register by July 18, 2019 will receive the “early bird” price of $1,230 for members and $615 for the member’s spouse / guest. Registration opens on May 16th. After you have sent NECA your registration information/payment(s) or have done so on-line, please send a copy of your completed registration form (or copy of on-line transaction) to the Association office. This will allow us to have a record of your registration information, should you need any assistance after registering. There are several ways to attend the Convention: Full Convention & A La Carte.
Full Registration includes: Business Development Session, Opening Reception, three (3) General Sessions, Convention Education, Technical Workshops, three (3) days of the NECA Show including lunch; On-line streaming of select convention courses, and the Closing Celebration.

One unique login provides access to 12+ hours of preselected Convention Education content and their associated materials. Content will be available 24-hours after the time posted on the original schedule and will remain available for 30 days.
Executive Committee Stipend:
The ECA Executive Committee recently approved a stipend for the NECA Convention & Trade Show. The Registration Fee for an ECA member and Spouse / Guest will be paid for up to two ECA Members from each ECA participating member firm. Reimbursement(s) to the firm(s) will be made after the Convention.
Hotel Reservations
The Chicago and Cook County Chapter is utilizing a block of rooms at The Four Seasons Hotel, 3960 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, (702) 632-5000. Detailed information regarding the hotel can be found at: https://www.fourseasons.com/lasvegas/. The Convention Center is located on the Mandalay Bay Resort property (as well as the Four Seasons). Check-in is at 3:00 pm; Check-out is at 12:00 pm.
The Standard Room (Strip View) based on availability in the room block – single or double occupancy rate - is $299.00 per night.
The Executive Suite (non-Strip View) based on availability in the room block – single or double occupancy rate - is $369.00 per night.
The One Bedroom Suite based on availability in the room block (Please contact the ECA on availability) single or double occupancy rate - is $419.00 per night.
The current tax rate is approximately 13.38%. The Resort Fee of $39.00 covers premium high-speed internet access for multiple devices in guest rooms, the lobby, Veranda Restaurant, the Spa and the pool; access to Mandalay Bay pools, lazy river and wave pool, in-room local and toll-free calls. Rooms will be available up to July 18, 2019. If making a reservation after that date, please contact the ECA office, as CMR will coordinate that request with the hotel as the rooms will be available upon availability. Reservations should be made by credit card. CMR can be contacted at: (800) 368-6322 for assistance with on-line reservation. Please be aware that a fee of $155 is charged for rooms not booked through CMR.
PLEASE NOTE: The Chapter Rooming block is nearly full. Please contact the ECA if the room designation has been exhausted. We will contact CMR to see if the block can be expanded. Either way, the NECA rooming block is in the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Chicago Chapter Events
The Chicago and Cook County Chapter function has been scheduled for 7:00 pm, Monday, September 16th at the House of Blues Foundation Room (located on Mandalay Bay Resort property). We hope that you will join us.
Also, an outdoor reception has been scheduled for 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm - just prior to the Closing Celebration on Tuesday, September 17th - at the Four Seasons' Press area.
Convention Events
The Trade Show will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort Convention Center; the main Convention events will be held on-site.
The Opening Reception is being held on Saturday, September 14th at The Mandalay Beach for a celebration of Elvis! The event will also feature the Milwaukee Tool Shed Band.
The Opening General Session is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th and will feature Tony Hsieh, Author and CEO of Zappo.
The Monday General Session on September 16th, features John Ondrasik, Singer and Songwriter, Five for Fighting.
The Closing General Session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17th and will have Nicole Malachowski, First Woman Thunderbird Pilot, Combat Veteran, Fighter Squadron Commander, White House Fellow & Adviser.
The Closing Celebration is arranged for the evening of Tuesday, September 17th. The program will feature the “Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil.”
